The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals.

The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.

The External Data Exchange Account Manager is part of the External Data Exchange team within Ahpra.

This team is customer-facing and builds and maintains relationships with external stakeholders including public and private health entities, commercial organisations that provide services to the healthcare industry, government agencies, co-regulators, pharmaceuticals, universities, and researchers.

This role is responsible for managing external and internal customer enquiries, onboarding new customers, contract management lifecycle activities, and providing the first line of technical assistance to external stakeholders.

This is a full time, ongoing opportunity based in our Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide Ahpra locations. This role is for an immediate start.

About You

Experience with contract management and/or interpretation of legislation is desirable
Welldeveloped problem solving skills and strong critical thinking ability,
High attention to detail and accuracy,
Excellent communication skills and experience working with a range of stakeholders in a professional or services focused environment
Experience in providing level 1 technical support and resolving issues for external stakeholders
Proficient in multitasking and prioritising your workload
