We provide therapy where it is most needed, including offering home, education and community-based services.

    NeuroJunior (paediatric) Speech Pathologist Team Leader


Are you an experienced leader looking to take on new challenges? Or are you a Speech Pathologist looking to develop your skillsets and take the next step of your career into a leadership position? NeuroJunior would love to hear from you.

Our NeuroJunior Speech Pathologists work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.

You will provide assessment and therapy services to children and young people with developmental and acquired neurological conditions and injuries such as developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, ABI and intellectual disability.

You will be working with children, young people and their families in various settings (home, school and clinic).

The role is challenging and rewarding, ideal for those looking to make a difference to these children and young persons.

As the Team Leader, you will support other Speech Pathologists in this role too.

NeuroJunior is an expansion of NeuroRehab Allied Health Network. We are a Child Safe organisation and adhere to Victorian Child Safe regulations.

  • Ideally 5+ years' experience working with children and young people from early childhood to adulthood (018 years of age) and skills in paediatric communication, speech, language, literacy, social skills, and mealtime support.
  • Experience with supervising or mentoring Speech Pathologists, students and AHAs.
  • A desire to participate in quality improvement projects.
  • Skills in developing inservices.
  • A creative and playbased approach to therapy and an ability to develop strong rapport with children and families.
  • Training in DIR Floortime, Hanen-It Takes Two To Talk, SOS Approach to feeding is highly regarded, however not essential.

NeuroJunior home clinic
The NeuroJunior Speech Pathologist Team Leader's home clinic will be dependent on your location. We are open to be flexible and accommodate your needs.

We have clinics across the West (Deer Park, Werribee, and Melton) and North (Thomastown, Tullamarine, and Bulleen), giving excellent flexibility.
