Our client is a national privately owned multidiscipline Building Services success story.

4 offices across Australia and 1 international location they have delivered high quality and consistent engineering designs for over almost 40 years.

Part of the 'secret sauce' is there unwavering commitment to ensuring the highest quality fully coordinated drawings produced every time.

How do they do this? By investing in and supporting a full time Group BIM Manager to ensure as a company the latest and greatest technology and every digital engineering process is optimised.

This is not a 'hands on' BIM modelling role nor is it a people management position, but an overarching group role to ensure the Digital production division and BIM modellers in the group have access to the best and most efficient processes and that the company is using the latest and greatest technology when it comes to BIM.

The Role and Responsibilities (in short)

Management of innovation; Develop technology evaluations, recommendations and budgets for future technology adoption. Chair company BIM committee

Training and Support; Provide training and support relating to BIM production and provide Revit training to staff

Project interface and Marketing; Support project standards coordination with customers and present at client focused conferences and industry initiatives.

Essentially you will be responsible for maintaining and developing best practice and most efficient and accurate processes in producing and coordinating a full 3D model.

You will play an active role in clash detection on models and know how to prioritise what gets fixed and by who.

Experience required

Tertiary education would be an advantage (but not essential)
At least 5 + years experience using BIM, Revit, Navisworks with a multidiscipline environment (Mechanical ,Electrical, Hydraulic, Fire)
Experience in programming for further efficiency's would be an advantage
Advanced knowledge of BIM and 3D/4D modelling
