_About the Role_

_Duties will include but not limited to_

  • Detect and diagnoses faults in engines and parts.
  • Repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassembles mechanical components, and refer to service manuals as needed.
  • Reassembles engines and parts after being repaired.
  • Tests and adjusts mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.
  • Fault finding.
  • Testing and commissioning of new machines.
  • Ensure paperwork & records are complete.
  • Pre & Post checks of machines / equipment.
  • Assist stakeholders with technical enquiries.
  • Test equipment and check that specific requirements have been met.
  • Carry out mechanical inspections in accordance with manufacturers requirements.
  • Strip and assess equipment for repairs.
  • Plan and maintain fleet equipment.
  • Planning preventative maintenance.

_Requirements & Experience Needed_

  • Australian Recognised Trade Qualification of a Mechanical discipline.
  • Working at Heights certificate (within 2 years desirable).
  • Confined Space Entry certificate (within 2 years desirable).
  • Breathing Apparatus certificate (desirable).
  • Gas Test Atmosphere (desirable).
  • Current Drivers License (essential).
  • High Risk Work License (advantageous).
  • Full Australian work rights.
  • HR/HC Drivers License (Desirable)

The salary banding for this position up to $105,000.00k p/a + reasonable overtime worked, paid at an overtime rate + 11% superannuation.

There will be the requirement to mobilise to Onshore and Offshore facilities within this role as per project demand.
