You'll join a team of respected, trusted professionals and work with us on some of the most interesting projects which are shaping the future of our country.
You'll work with large Commonwealth departments, such as Defence, you'll be a member of a dedicated, onsite TS team where you can work together to kick our client's goals out of the park.
Your new role
- You'll work alongside our team of esteemed, trusted professionals on a pond full of exciting Government and Defence Programs.
- You'll establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of products while adhering to our quality standards.
- Utilise your excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements with suppliers, optimizing our procurement process and minimising costs.
- Implement effective inventory management systems to monitor stock levels, prevent shortages, and reduce waste.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain, such as availability, quality, or sustainability issues, and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks effectively.
- To be eligible, you must be an Australian Citizen.
- Additionally, hold a current Baseline security clearance or higher.
- Delivering end-to-end procurement services
- Procurement advice and planning
- Providing commercial and procurement expertise and assistance to your stakeholders
- Developing go to market documentation (in consultation with your clients)
- Developing work orders and contracts
- Provide support to personnel with invoice processing, purchase order, problem solving and performance reporting and
- Performing contract changes
- Providing procurement advice and support to internal customers
- Providing support and assistance with procurement planning, analysis, and reporting
- Providing accurate procurement information to all levels of management
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Highlight issues and provide support on procurement options and strategies.

Your typical day will include:
- Working as part of an integrated TS team to contribute to projects that are important for Australia;
- Working within procurement policies and procedures that align to principles of accountability, scalability, probity, and value for money in the Commonwealth government
- Demonstrated experience in procurementrelated roles
- Taking ownership of commercial advice to stakeholders and managing commercial outcomes with suppliers;
- Being a trusted advisor for procurement, probity, and contract management;
- Bringing together stakeholders (project managers, execs, legal) to influence commercial outcomes; and
- Being a positive, proactive individual who adds to the team dynamics.
Pay:
$103, $145,984.23 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Canberra, ACT 2601: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Procurement: 2 years (required)
