Job description
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Analyst who is passionate about delivering outstanding results and having meaningful impact?


Our client is a major infrastructure provider in Sydney who is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join its Origination team, reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager.

As the Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for leading commercial projects and partnerships, developing and growing engagement and income-generating relationships, and maximizing opportunities for the company.


Key Accountabilities:


Deliver the execution of commercial projects and partnerships, including partnership valuation, financial modelling and running due diligence processes, commercialisation of new product lines, and identifying improvement opportunities to deliver better commercial outcomes.

Collaborate with relevant experts to develop strategy options for assessment and recommendation for decision making.
Develop robust business cases that maximise value and minimise risks, taking into consideration short-term, medium-term, and long-term horizons.
Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, both internally and externally.


Qualifications and Experience:

A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Analyst.
CFA qualification highly regarded
Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate information and draw meaningful conclusions.
Proven experience building complex financial models from scratch.
Familiarity with project finance structures and cash flow modelling.
Understanding of financial statements and key performance indicators.
Experience in due diligence, transaction analysis, and investment research is preferred.
