You could be the perfect fit to join the team at Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD).

We're looking for a qualified Workforce Reporting and Analysis Consultant who has:

- high level analytical and problem solving skills
- the ability to effectively lead a small team
- a knack for translating data into user friendly, informative reports to inform decision making
- experience using Business Intelligence software such as Power Query

From Helensburgh in the north to North Durras in the south, ISLHD covers an area of 5,687 square kms. That's 5,687 square kms of beautiful beaches, coastal cycling tracks, lush rainforests, incredible bushwalks and friendly people. The region is also host to many annual food, wine and arts festivals and events. The ISLHD operates eight hospital sites, employ over 8,500 staff and provide community health services across 58 locations. Commute times are short, childcare and schooling options are plentiful, and Sydney is close by.

Selection Criteria

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
  • Demonstrated in depth understanding of data systems, particularly those relating to workforce, and an ability to extract, analyse, interpret and manipulate complex data to produce meaningful reports
  • Extensive experience in report development using Business Intelligence software (in particular Power Query) and other data reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and facilitation skills, commitment to customer service and ability to lead a team to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Effective time management and demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, and other key stakeholders.
