Marketing Operations and Engagement

Team drive digital marketing innovation and student recruitment activities to keep pace with the market, improve effectiveness and meet changing customer expectations. The

Digital Marketing team are responsible for the creation and management of a seamless digital user experience, marketing insights and account-based marketing including future student outreach and recruitment strategies.

As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Collaborate with University Marketing teams, key stakeholders, and external agency partners to ensure that digital projects, marketing campaigns and events are planned and executed correctly to enable streamlined user journeys and support student recruitment and brand strategic plans
  • Ensure digital engagement platforms are user centric and are optimised for lead generation and data capture
  • Support the development and implementation of marketing data and insights reporting, in collaboration with the Marketing Managers, Deputy Directors, and other marketing data users of the University, to enable data governance and integrity, and ensure marketing performance is effectively measured for ROI analysis
  • Lead your team to ensure effective workload prioritisation and help guide team members through use of great coaching and career management skills
  • Provide strategic support and advice to Curtin's Incident Communications Team, and act as key liaison during critical incidents to issue updates via Curtin external digital channels where required

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Completed relevant qualifications, alongside extensive work experience in the digital marketing field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience leading and managing a team within the marketing industry with a focus on digital strategies and channels
  • Demonstrated planning and management skills and a record of successfully delivering business outcomes for an organisation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across an organisation and develop strong relationships and networks.
  • Demonstrated experience in a range of digital marketing technologies, specifically content management systems and analytics tools including
    Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio.
