The Role
The Learning and Development Coordinator is an integral part of Centacare's Training and Education Services, which also encompasses a Registered Training Organisation (RTO, provider number The Training and Education services' function is to develop and deliver high quality, evidence informed training to internal and external professionals based on the identified needs of the organisation, industry, and consumer groups.


The Learning and Development role will support Centacare's Training and Educations Services and Executive Managers to implement Centacare's Workforce Training and Development Strategy.

This will include a focus on developing innovative and creative learning opportunities.

What you need to bring

Essential

  • Degree level qualifications in a relevant field
  • Experience in design, delivery and evaluation of learning programs and solutions
  • Ability to identify or design programs that address training needs gaps
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (previously known as 'Child-Related Employment Screening Clearance')

Desirable

  • Project management experience and/or qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications in training and assessment, workplace training and/or instructional design
  • Qualification in Business or similar
  • Knowledge of Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications
  • Knowledge of lived experience workforce guidelines and processes
