The Department
Alfred Health Nursing Education Department is committed to providing excellence in education to all sections of the Nursing Division.

Our overall goal is to act as a resource to the Nursing Division through the provision of educational activities that support registered and enrolled nurses to provide outstanding nursing care and service.

In this dynamic environment, we are constantly exploring new approaches to education that will enhance the Nursing Division's continuous service improvement and development.


The Position Description
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Administrative support role in Nursing Education.

  • This position will be to provide highquality and efficient administration and clerical support to Nursing Education and receptionist support to nursing and allied health education.
  • The role will also provide administrative support for the undergraduate and transition to practice (graduate) programs:
Systems maintenance (Placeright and PMCV)

  • Accounts processing
  • Event planning and coordination
  • The organisation of site visitors
  • Other associated administrative tasks

Skills Required:


  • Strong organisational, and customer service skills and demonstrated computer efficiency
  • Excellence in written and oral communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail
  • Fast and accurate keyboard skills/data entry are necessary and extensive demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience working within an education environment will be highly regarded, however, applicants with strong administrative skills from other fields will also be considered
  • Demonstrated competency in customer service and reception duties
  • A relevant administration course or working towards the same is desirable
