Description

Due to ongoing growth and innovation, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Recreational Program Coordinators to join our team.

- $76,320.00 base + Super + Not for profit salary packaging

  • Fulltime Permanent role working overseeing Western Sydney region
  • Newly created roles supporting our clients to lead joyfilled lives.


In the brand newly created role you will be responsible for the coordination, development, implementation, and delivery of a range of customised client-based programs.

Your focus will be on understanding the client's needs and aspirations to ensure that future goals are met.


Key role responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement program schedules for Community Service clients
  • Coordinate all new client inductions
  • Communicate any client "change in circumstances or situation" to management and NDIA
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure successful execution of all community Service programs
  • Demonstrate an understanding of risk management and adhere to Affords WHS policy and procedure
  • Promote and model the NDIA's work standards and Affords organisational values by upholding clients rights and celebrating their diversity.
  • Ensure that all internal/external legislations and standard practices are met
  • Management of client feedback, compliments, and complaints

To be successful in this role, we see you as having;

  • Tertiary qualifications, Bachelor of Health Science (Recreation Therapy), formerly known as Diversional Therapy and or extensive experience developing Community service programs that focus on humancentred care in the disability or aged care sector
  • Excellent communication skills and a true passion for empowering clients to build capability and lead joy filled lives.
  • Experience in meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Computer literacy; i.e rostering software and MS Office
  • Current "C" class Australian Driver's Licence
  • Provide up to date Covid Vaccinations or Medical Exemption
