About the Role

We are currently on the lookout for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team on a 12-month maternity leave contract.

Reporting in to the General Manager - Marketing & Corporate Governance, the Marketing Coordinator will support, create and coordinate marketing activities and initiatives within the BEC Group.

This is a hands-on role for a versatile marketer in a fast-paced industry, working closely with other departments of the business.

Your responsibilities will include the development and execution of the marketing strategy, ensuring branding consistency, development of creative assets, management of online platforms and development of internal communication material.

Key tasks of the role include (but are not limited to):

  • Creation of external marketing materials including posters, brochures and other supporting material.
  • Assist and plan creation of creative assets including photography and film
  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance to guidelines across the business.
  • Plan, prepare and implement digital and print marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor, review and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Update and manage online platforms including organisation website and social media channels; Monitor and drive engagement across online platforms
  • Supporting business departments by creating effective communications materials including power point presentations, poster and videos

About You
We are seeking a highly self-motivated individual with a strong understanding of marketing techniques and principles.

You will have an eye for detail and design, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and activities in a fast-paced environment.

Your love of creativity, combined with your ability to generate ideas and turn concepts into persuasive writing and content, will see you excel in this role
To be successful in the role you will bring:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar marketing position
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or related field
  • Ability to communicate confidently at all levels
  • Demonstrated capability in design using a range of design principles (desirable)
  • Experience in strategic business marketing and communications (preferably targeting B2B)
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress to manage website (desirable)
  • Photography and videography skills preferably with digital SLR camera (desirable)
  • Previous experience in FMCG (desirable)
