In partnership with the Australia Defence Force, we are seeking experienced
Baristas and Food Service Attendants to join the team at
Defence Science & Technology (DST) located in
Fisherman's Bend, Port Melbourne.
This is a permanent full time role working in the Spectra Café, on a Monday to Friday 7am 3pm basis

What you'll be doing:

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring adherence to hygiene standards.
Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly approachable demeanour.
Take and process customers orders efficiently and accurately and have knowledge of Impos point of sales system.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation.
Always adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
Ability to handle a fastpaced environment with attention to detail.

About you:

A minimum of 12 months Barista experience.
Experience in hospitality and catering with a focus on coffee making.
Basic kitchen experience.
Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry.
Outstanding customer service skills.
