About The Role


As a Systems Training Support Specialist you will support the Operational Training Manager in the management of the Learning Management System, the design of mandatory (compliance), role required and other optional learning, and the governance and reporting of compliance-based learning across the Bupa Aged Care AU Market Unit.


You will have a blended approach to delivering learning, with a focus on online learning and micro learning to reach our widely dispersed target audience of which some are "unwired" and training material and delivery must meet the needs of a diverse workforce with varying access to online devices.

This role can be based in Melb, Syd or Brisbane.

Duties

  • Utilise data to identify capability development needs and priorities by audience group, business strategic area, training needs analysis, surveys, and participant experiences with current or previously development programs or offers
  • Use strategy and priorities to form and manage design principles which will be reflected through resulting designs, delivery and operations
  • Collaborate with embedded capability development teams and business stakeholders as appropriate to ensure work being proposed can be delivered in indicated timeframes and aligns to broader interventions or priorities
  • Design and develop content for instructorled, online and blended solutions to support the agreed and varied business needs
  • Curate content to publish as ondemand learning options and manage these in collaboration with the Operational Training Manager
  • Creation and maintenance of user guides, system documentation and process maps
  • Reporting and measurement of compliance and monitors operational performance data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Collate and present relevant learning data in a way that is meaningful and useful for stakeholders
  • Contribute to standards and governance documentation for instructional design and the LMS

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary education in relevant discipline (organisational psychology, psychology, education or equivalent)
  • Combination of Certificate IV Training and Assessment and capability development design and delivery experience advantageous if tertiary education not present
  • Previous experience in the design or curation of learning content for a variety of employee audiences
  • Sound knowledge of adult learning methodologies and experience putting these into action in program design
  • Capability to build excellent stakeholder relationships and link that to service provision and learning outcomes
  • Proven ability to plan, sequence and prioritise work and the ability to work on multiple projects at a time
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
