The school delivers a range of undergraduate courses in nursing, oral health therapy and paramedicine; and specialist postgraduate courses.Your new Role
This position is specifically to teach the Advanced Wound Care unit in the undergraduate nursing program.
In this role you will
- Deliver high quality teaching to undergraduate students within the Nursing courses.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing reflective improvement in teaching.
- Conduct tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, clinical sessions, as appropriate, which stimulate and foster student learning.
- Mark and assess student work.
- Contribute to curriculum innovation and content design.
To be considered for this you would need to hold a Grad Certificate or Master in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Practice or Master of Wound Management and evidence of current clinical wound management experience.

- Registered with AHPRA (or the equivalent Australian health professional regulatory authority).
- Grad Certificate or Master in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Practice or Master of Wound Management and evidence of current clinical wound management experience.
- Demonstrated high level teaching skill and a demonstrated reflective approach to teaching delivery.
- An understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice relevant to the discipline and experience of scholarship in teaching.
- Demonstrated experience to undertake unit coordination role.
- Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to the development of a collegial and supportive working environment and the ability to interact with students and staff with cross cultural sensitivity.
