  • Permanent Full Time
- $83,879 pa + super (up to 12%) + leave loading
Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 4 of the EBA- 9 day fortnight

  • 76 hour fortnight
  • Location: Burpengary and Petrie please note, these positions will be moving to a Narangba location in the coming months.

About our opportunity


This position will see you providing leadership and motivation to Council's internal construction crews and managing the performance of engaged sub-contractors on a daily basis.

You will be required to read and interpret complex construction documentation - including drawings, specifications, estimates and program scheduling as well as maintaining a range of construction project inputs to support quality construction outcomes, undertaking the end to end range of construction procurement activities and undertaking costing activities in consultation with construction leaders.


About you
Ideally you will have experience working within a similar position.

You will have well developed people and day to day management skills and experience delivering a range of scheduled construction projects in a construction environment including knowledge and practical experience of relevant construction materials, plant capacity and relevant specifications and standards.


Paired with the above mentioned skills and experience you will also hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Construction, Project Management or another relevant field, a Construction Induction card and a current C class drivers licence.
