Great opportunity for a Senior Administrator seeking the next step up in their clinic experience. Expanding and dynamic clinic, fast-paced environment for a an experienced Clinic Coordinator.


THE ROLE
We are seeking an
_Clinic Coordinator._ The role will be responsible for the provision of high-quality operational and administrative support within the Specialist clinic
_Clinical Trials and Oncology_).

You will work as part of a team to ensure a high-quality patient experience and support clinicians in running an efficient and professional practice.

The role requires a firm commitment to excellent customer service and patient-centred care.


Key Accountabilities include:

  • Manage daily business and administrative operations of the clinic to ensure they are efficient, patientfocused and consistent.
  • Supervise clinic administrative and reception staff including trainees if and when required
  • Providing customer service, making appointments and answering enquiries from patients and medical practitioners including managing patient flow during clinic sessions
  • Ensuring accurate data entry of patient information into the patient management system, preserving confidentiality and privacy of all patient information and records
  • Manage and resolve any patient complaints and feedback, working with the Clinical Trials Manager as needed to ensure consistently optimal service.
  • Liaise with other clinics, hospitals and allied health professionals to acquire comprehensive patient information and provide exceptional patient coordination.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other MQ Health staff and teams as relevant, including clinical trials and allied health staff working at the clinic.
  • Perform any other duties as directed.

You will have previous reception and administration experience in the medical industry and will have experience with or an aptitude for, supporting and mentoring junior colleagues.

You will have well-developed experience using health-related software packages, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing patients with excellent customer service in every interaction.

You will possess exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills when prioritising and managing workloads
  • Previous experience working in a medical practice and knowledge of medical terminology
  • Demonstrated experience using electronic practice management systems (such as Odyssey or Genie or Best Practice)
  • Previous experience in supervising staff
  • Understanding of and experience with Australian health insurance schemes and patient billing arrangements
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills while maintain confidentiality, discretion and professionalism
  • Demonstrated experience in developing partnerships, eliciting cooperation and working effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Taking initiative and capacity for creativity, innovation and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work in collaboration and effectively as part of a team to achieve shared goals
