Health Information Services Manager - Perth Orthopaedics Pty Ltd**Perth Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Centre is a pioneering orthopaedic practice offering surgical and non surgical treatment of knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, foot and ankle, hand and wrist, trauma and sports injury


Our practitioners founded the Perth Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Research Institute, a not-for-profit organisation that strives to produce the highest quality evidence based orthopaedic research and to provide training for both local and international training orthopaedic surgeons.


We are currently seeking a full time Health Information Services Manager to implement and manage our patient information systems as well as clinical and administrative data.


About the Role


This role works closely with our Orthopaedic Surgeons and includes liaising with patients, hospitals, medical representatives, health professionals and our other staff members.


You will be responsible for:

  • Managing health information services, including patient information systems, and clinical and administrative data.
  • Maintaining computerised and other patient record management systems and record forms.
  • Controlling access to confidential information and recommending policies and practices for accessing records including patient identification, security, filing and retrieval.
  • Providing training and liaising with clinical and administrative staff to ensure compliance within health information processes.
  • Ensuring the confidentiality of all patient information is maintained in accordance with national regulatory frameworks.

About You

You will also have:

  • Demonstrated organisational, analytical planning and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Current knowledge of legislative obligations and service delivery.

To apply

Salary:
$75, $80,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
