We currently seek Accredited Mental Health Social Workers and Counsellors within employee positions for part-time and full-time positions in our Adelaide offices.


Qualifications & experience

  • Commitment to evidence based therapies such as EMDR, CBT and DBT
  • Display initiative and confidence to work independently
  • Ability to cope with emotionally demanding situations
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • Registered with AHPRA / AASW / Australian Counselling Association and eligibility for APS membership
  • Have met CPD requirements
  • Medicare registered
  • Experience working in clinical counselling roles and work with vulnerable people

Tasks & responsibilities

  • To provide 11 therapy to individuals, family therapy to improve their psychosocial wellbeing and functioning
  • Provide office based/telehealth and video health support through counselling
  • Provide a high level of professional evidence based clinical counselling through assessment, intervention and review
  • Document and upload relevant information on client's records
  • Maintain activity records for monitoring and evaluation
  • Maintain professional networks with broader community, partners and other sectors
  • Adhere to the APS / AASW ethical guidelines
  • Participate in the provision of external, and group supervision sessions regularly.
  • Establishment and maintenance of working relationships with coworkers, clients and external agencies.
  • The position holder will be required to develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships with a broader range of people, organisations.
  • Working in a person centered approach, psychosocial and other therapeutic prevention strategies
  • Complying with and contributing to the ongoing development of PSC business framework and quality assurance
  • Participate in service review and evaluation activities, training and research which lead to service improvements
  • Participate in team meetings, training and planning activities, supervision, file auditing, performance management etc
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain knowledge and skills required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
  • Positively represent PSC services to the public, community and other organisations

Salary:
$80, $128,617.36 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
