This is a great opportunity for a qualified Dietitian to join the Wellness & Reablement Team within our Residential Aged Care Services, in this permanent position In this role, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary Allied Health Team, delivering services across the three MDHS campuses and surrounding catchment.

You will be part of a friendly, supportive and collaborative team, enhancing health outcomes for residents of our Residential Care Community

Dietitian Grade - Wellness & Reablement Team

Permanent Part Time - 64 hours per fortnight

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor of Science and Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics/Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics
or equivalent, and preferably hold an Accredited Practicing Dietetic credential.

  • Demonstrated post graduate experience in the management and treatment of aged care residents.
  • Current Driver's Licence

Specialist Expertise

  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Capacity to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Advanced computer skills with ability to work with different programs and spreadsheets
  • Ability to work with a range of consumers and key stakeholders including aged care residents, families and key stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership to assist teams to achieve their optimal efficiency and effectiveness
  • Skills and experience in project management and change management
  • Skills and experience in systems planning and policy skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • A commitment to providing an innovative, high quality service to MDHS clients
  • A positive approach to teamwork and a willingness to undertake a broad range of clinical and nonclinical duties.
