A fantastic opportunity exists to join our Insurance Design and Actuarial team as a Product Specialist We now have a fulltime fixed term vacancy until 30 June 2024.

As a
Product Specialist in QInsure, you are part of a team responsible for development and management of the QInsure insurance products, service propositions and product roadmap developed in collaboration with the ART Insurance Product Team.

Key responsibilities:

Assist with the successful development and delivery of QInsure insurance products that meet the needs of ART's agreed product design in accordance with relevant project timelines and delivery dates
Contribute to a membercentric Insurance Product Roadmap that supports ART's and QInsure's strategic direction including assisting with the annual Strategic Product and Service Review Process
Assist with the coordination and development of QInsure product and operations inputs for responses to Industry/Regulatory proposals
Contribute to the ongoing development and review of Underwriting and Claim Management policies and guidelines ensuring alignment to the product and services objectives and intent
Assist with the preparation of reports, submissions and briefing papers for Management, Management Committees, Board and Board Committees in relation to Insurance products as required
Provide support to QInsure Claims and Underwriting stakeholders including advice and guidance on complex matters

About you

You are an excellent communicator who is self-driven and able to contribute to the successful implementation of products and services.

Furthermore, your skills, experience and qualifications may include the following:

A demonstrated strong understanding of group insurance products within superannuation with a very strong understanding of the QInsure insurance product suite
The ability to gain a solid understanding of Group Insurance pricing, product features and associated levers for managing commercially viable products that meet member and other stakeholder needs
A solid understanding of Australian and international trends in insurance product, pricing, underwriting and claims
A capacity to assist with the development, and delivery of improved products and service strategies supporting delivery of business objectives
