About the Role

An exciting opportunity to join BOQ Group (which includes Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia and ME Bank) as a Quality Assurance Analyst during our digital transformation journey on a 12-month maximum term basis.

By joining the digital bank of the future, you will be able to make a difference with curiosity and optimism by supporting the Quality Assurance Lending domain, adding significant value to our organisation.

With exciting projects currently underway, you will be a key contributor to unique business development and change across the BOQ Group.


As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will sit within the lending domain to support the successful completion of testing, further governing the currently approved controls assurance and testing plan for Mortgage HUB.


Reporting to our Manager of Risk and Compliance, Quality Assurance Lending, the Quality Assurance Analyst will also be responsible for the completion of the test plan followed by reporting insights to the manager, including themes and trends.

This will include ensuring awareness of test findings, escalating files that need further review, such as managing file quality to a standardised level.


As directed by the business and endorsed by risk leaders, you may be required to perform deep dive activities, further maintaining BOQ Group's risk management framework and ensuring our controls testing approach seeks to inform divisions of risk ratings.

About you
You will be a collaborative people and outcome focussed professional who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment.

You will have a willingness and commitment to adapt and learn, having solid communication skills on a verbal and written level to articulate technical information and partner with team members.


With 1+ years' experience in a similar role, you will understand compliance and risk management practices, supported by knowledge of the 3 Lines of Defence (3LOD) model.
