About you
The ideal applicant will demonstrate capability in the following requirements:

  • Strong capabilities in data management concepts, information management practices, data analysis, and data governance practices, with expertise and experience building, implementing, and maintaining data governance programs (Data Governance or Information Management certifications (E.g., DAMA) preferable).
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop innovative data, reporting and analysis solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability leading staff and project teams, and managing consultants and contractors in line with quality human and financial resource management practices with particular reference to employment equity, antidiscrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve data literacy and develop a dataoriented culture, including by delivering training.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver multiple outcomes simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff, management and stakeholders, using interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, actively collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders.
