About the role

  • Working as part of RACQ's Transformation team, the Change Management Governance and Reporting Lead plays a pivotal role in tracking the success of enterprisewide change management activities. You'll be responsible for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of RACQ's change management approach. You'll monitor and report on the overall 'change management health' within RACQ during our transformation activities, and you'll be there to ensure consistency and standardisation for our change delivery approach.


As Change Management Governance and Reporting Lead your starting point will be our existing tools which you'll use to gather change impact data and metrics.

We really want someone who can also develop or introduce new tools and reporting templates to analyse the data, identify opportunities and provide recommendations to the Transformation team and stakeholders.

You play a vital role in fuelling the change impact conversation, so you'll need the right set of tools to help you articulate where and how we can improve.


  • RACQ has a welldeveloped Change Management Framework and a passionate team of Change Managers who you'll be working closely with to address any challenges and maximise delivery opportunities. You're someone who can understand, analyse, and interpret data relating to change and effectively influence change strategies based on that data. You appreciate the ROI of change management, and you're someone who can further uplift understanding and provoke conversation to make it front and centre of all change delivery.
  • Here's what you'll do:
  • Lead change management governance, and reporting activities to drive improved business performance with mínimal disruption and/or positive impacts to members.
  • Develop tools to gather and analyse change impact data across all funded projects and programs to identify change hotspots, opportunities, and risks.
  • Conduct first level assurance activities to ensure consistent and standardized use of change management tools, templates, and practices aligned with RACQ's Change Management Framework.
  • Interpret the data to identify peoplerelated change risks, saturation points, conflicts, and alignment opportunities for change delivery improvement and shape support interventions or risk mitigations.
  • Collaborate with the key Transformation stakeholders to develop an integrated approach to change management, change governance and change reporting.
  • Propose support interventions and risk mitigations for business and program consideration and implementation.
  • Define change management critical success factors throughout the program lifecycle and implement monitoring and feedback processes during regular checkpoints.

About you

  • You have extensive knowledge of different change management methodologies, tools, and best practices, and are accredited in at least one major Change Management methodology (ProsciTM accreditation or Bachelor's Degree preferred)
  • You can demonstrate experience in development of enterpriselevel action plans, frameworks and guidelines, and the preparation and presentation of analysis and reporting to management at all levels.
  • You have a thorough knowledge of reporting tools suitable for tracking and mapping change management activity across funded projects and programs.
  • You have demonstrated experience in a governance and/or assurance role with a particular focus on change management highly regarded.
  • You have experience working on complex and/or largescale change programs and projects.
  • You can demonstrate experience in leading, influencing, and coaching business leaders through various types of changes.
  • Obviously, you'll be a great communicator, have good attention to detail, business acumen, strategic and critical thinking ability, and problemsolving skills.
  • You're someone who appreciates working with an innovative, passionate group who aren't quite where we want to be in terms of change management ROI but are very keen to work with you to get there
