Alex Fraser are looking for a high-energy
12 month fixed term contract as a
Customer Service and Allocator Agent to service our growing business, selling recycled products from our Victorian and Queensland facilities.

You will be responsible for our customer calls and allocations of aggregate and roadbase materials based in our
Derrimut office.

We are looking for a sales focused, customer centric, service superstar


In your new role, you will:

  • Work in a team of 8, across Melbourne and Brisbane, using software to co-ordinate the allocation of recycled concrete, aggregates and road base products
  • You will work closely with our Transport and Logistics team as well as Key Account Managers, confirming orders, responding to general enquiries, and allocating trucks to the schedule
  • Shift hours are between 6.30am and 4:30pm, Monday-Friday.
  • Your roster will rotate and also include up to 2 x half day Saturdays per month which are paid on top of your salary
  • You will be responsible for incoming customer calls from our Victorian and Queensland customers
  • You will be responsible for coordinating up to 50 trucks, so it is important you enjoy dealing with customers, drivers and solving a moving puzzle Maybe you like Tetris?

This role is a great fit if you have:

  • Previous Call Centre experience is essential
  • Previous experience in the construction industry preferred but not essential
  • Experience with high level Microsoft Skills (MS Excel, Outlook etc) and highlevel numeracy skills
  • Experience with aggregates, constructions materials or concrete is desirable but not essential
  • The ability to quickly develop product/industry knowledge
  • Superior communication and customer service skills
  • A high level of emotional resilience and a positive attitude
  • Strong presentation, negotiating and influencing skills
  • A positive and influential presence in building strong and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work productively with solution orientated mindset
  • Ability to work well under pressure
