Reporting to the Environment Lead you will:

  • Partner with operational teams and internal stakeholders to support environmental risk management
  • Design and implement an infield and desktop assurance program to provide confidence to the business leaders that risks are minimised;
  • Work closely with operational teams to codesign and support delivery of environment performance improvement initiatives
  • Create champions within the operational teams to deliver the key principles of natural resource stewardship
  • Prepare and coordinate input into compliance reports in association with our licence to operate
  • Implement and verify the business' environmental management system.

What you'll bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in an Environmental Management or related discipline
  • Demonstrated knowledge of key concepts and practices related to environmental risk management, State and Federal legislation and environmental management systems
  • Excellent communication and partnering skills with the ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated experience in executing work, creative thinking and a solutionsfocused approach
  • A nonnegotiable strong attitude towards safety and respect
  • Resilience and a dynamic approach to problem solving
