This is an exciting career opportunity to work as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) on ward 4B cardiac/ respiratory as part of our dynamic nursing team at Northern Beaches Hospital

As an AIN your responsibilities will include:

Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
Work as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters
Assess patients using therapeutic skills
Answering patient/visitor/customer enquiries

To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:

Certificate IV in Health Care from an approved training provider or 2nd year undergraduate registered nurse or EN TAFE student who has completed their first acute clinical placement.
Excellent customer service skills
Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication
Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility to manage shift work (including, day & night shifts) over 7 days
