The Product Owner - Reward Consulting is critical to making this happen and will be responsible for supporting the strategic priorities across the remuneration lifecycle to meet the Tribe's objectives, while enabling the Squad and guiding them on 'what' work should be completed by the Squad.
You prioritise tasks and the Squad's backlog with the employee at the heart of your decision making, taking a system-wide, strategic view.
The key accountabilities are:
Leading the Reward Consulting squad, enable effective planning and delivery of remuneration consulting supporting across ANZ divisions, including active ownership of the pipeline of work and prioritisation of initiatives.
Working with other parts of Talent & Culture (Business Partners, Product Owners etc), contribute to designing and implementing strategic and tactical remuneration initiatives
Taking a lead partnership role with Talent & Culture Business Partners and the business to enable remuneration support into the Service Centre, Enablement Functions and the Institutional division.
Work with Product Owners and the Tribe Lead to write and present papers to ANZ Board and sub boards.Supporting the squad to assess risks for new frameworks, processes and technology solutions and design and embed appropriate controls.
This includes conducting in-depth analysis of process breaks, identifying root causes and suggesting preventative controls, drawing on the expertise of Talent & Culture Risk Specialists as required.
Role modelling and promoting ANZ behaviors, values, New Ways of Leading and our aspirational culture, and leading the team to do the same.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Technical expertise gained through relevant experience in senior remuneration leadership roles including experience working in a large organisation within the Banking or Finance sector.
A client centricity focus and facing into the business as a trusted advisor and technical expert.A progressive view of remuneration and viewing the strategy as whole of organisation as opposed to individual divisions along with a flexible approach to remuneration and the possibilities and benefits that can be achieved through shifting and adapting in an iterative way.
Either relevant experience or demonstrated knowledge of cross-geography remuneration structures and differences.Demonstrated leadership capability to engage and grow a high performing team.
Strong project/workflow management to identify capacity requirements, prioritization and outcomes to be delivered.
You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
