Digital Marketing Techology Specialist

Our client is looking for a Digital Technology Specialist who will ensure their digital marketing technology, including measurement, tags and activation of data, is successfully implemented.


Someone who can provide technical expertise in tag management and coding best practices & implement complex digital analytics tracking solutions.

You will be responsible for ensuring implementation best practices are applied across the MarTech ecosystem and for providing accurate digital tracking to support richer online experiences for our customers.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop a plan to optimise the stack in partnership with 3rd party agencies and vendors
  • Regular evaluation of current marketing technology stack to ensure data and functionality are optimal and fit for purpose
  • Ensure test and learn and continuous improvement programmes are implemented across all activities with clear, measurable results and valueadd learnings.
  • Ensure all tracking is in place to accurately monitor the digital performance of all channels and websites and implement fixes in a timely manner.
  • Perform troubleshooting to identify root causes of data discrepancies where necessary and develop a plan to resolve them.
  • Support the improvement of UX and conversion through web testing and user journey analysis.

Key Skills You'll Have:


  • Experience in digital tagging & implementation (such as Google Tag Manager and creating tags in CM)
  • Experience and understanding of digital marketing technology solutions including the Google 360 Stack; GA360, Google Tag Manager, DoubleClick (Bid Manager, DS3), Tealeaf, Hubspot and other Data Management Platforms.
  • Deep understanding of web analytics (especially experience with Google Analytics and Campaign Manager) and ability to provide insights that lead to action.
  • Experience working with conversion optimisation tools such as Google Optimize or other enterprise solutions
  • Excellent communication skills.
This role is based in Sydney with a hybrid work model in place of 3 days in the office.
