Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at Toll Global Logistics, located in Laverton.

In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing assigned Lead Logistics Management accounts for Toll Global Logistics Automotive Industrials, as well as approved third-party providers.

Your primary focus will be to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional transportation and logistics services.

By leveraging the resources and expertise of the Toll Group, you will drive innovation and implement cutting-edge solutions that set us apart from the competition.

As the Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • National management of transport services for a major customer, including direct reports of transport professionals locally and interstate.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customer(s) and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with customer(s) to implement innovative supply chain solutions and continually improve transport networks.
  • Drive positive change towards a safer and more productive workplace.
  • Ensure accountability for commercial performance, KPIs, forecasting, and continuous improvement targets.
  • Deliver routine customer service feedback to customers in line with LLP service commitments.
  • Conduct monthly presentations to major customers both locally and interstate.

Qualifications:

***To be successful in this role, you will need: - Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Transport Logistics industry, demonstrating problem-solving abilities and effective decision-making.

  • Experience in leading, managing, and mentoring teams would be advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build relationships and work effectively in a small team.
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with other department managers to achieve common goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, particularly PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI.
  • Indepth knowledge and understanding of available transport services in the industry.
  • Familiarity with transport rate cards, rate card theory, and economic adjustments.
