Job Description:

Due to recent growth within our Production department, we are seeking a locally trade qualified, energetic and team orientated Workshop based Fitter/Machinist, with appropriate skills who can fill the role of a Fitter in Unit Exchange in our Kings Park branch.

In this role, you will need to possess appropriate skills.

Tasks:

Complete pump, motor & valve builds as required to meet the required output targets
Communicate any issues affecting production builds, which may affect deliveries to plan
Ensure quality of finished product i.e. Pump performance, no warranty returns.
Manage your labour productivity to achieve agreed targets
Be involved and ensure calibrated equipment breakdown maintenance as required or directed by your supervisor
Follow all HSE procedures

Requirements:

Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen:

Local relevant Trade Qualification Fitter/Turner:
Competent level of Hydraulic knowledge
High focus on Quality and attention to detail
Analytical / Problem solving skills
Effective communication skills
Long term aspirations
Committed / Reliable
Organised and able to work independently
Must maintain good housekeeping and responsibility for the work area
Basic computer skills
