Due to rapid growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Area Supervisor. If you are a Registered Nurse willing to work in an Area Supervisor capacity, casually performing RN duties we want to hear from youThe Role
Primarily, this role will ensure the business meets disability and aged care compliance, training, and quality requirements under the NDIS and DVA Practice Standards, through consultation, mentoring, training, and advice to support teams.
The Area Supervisor will work closely with, the Regional Manager, Service Coordinators, SSWs, and SWs to support a range of plans to achieve the optimum care outcomes for each participant.
- Provide holistic participant care
- Maintain and develop positive stakeholder relationships
- Coordinate stakeholder home visits
- Maintain a high standard of service delivery to participants
- Effectively manage house teams
- Ensure all charts and relevant documentation are sent to the Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner within stipulated time frames
- Be on call on a roster basis (mandatory requirement)
Skills and Essential Requirements
- Satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Must have the right to work in Australia and provide evidence.
- Current Driver's Licence and a willingness to drive BETs' or own vehicle for work purposes.
- Tertiary qualification in Disability/ Social Work / Health/ Behavioural Sciences or another related field
- Ability to use IT systems and software to write reports, and develop other documentation as required by the role
- Welldeveloped communication and interpersonal skills.
