The Role:


Your primary focus will be championing the needs and desires of the customers and working closely with the Marketing team to support brand strategy and product development processes.

Your role will involve identifying opportunities for growth, gaining a deeper understanding of the shoppers and consumers' motivations and requirements, enabling effective product development to match consumer demand.

As a strategic partner to various stakeholders, you'll collaborate with them to provide recommendations to the business.

Your leadership will be instrumental in the strategic planning process, enhancing decision-making for the brand and innovation teams, and implementing best practices in marketing.

You'll challenge yourself and others to truly connect with our consumers.


Core responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the Product Marketing Manager and Retail and Campaign Manager to lead all research planning processes for our brand, retail, and innovation initiatives
  • Develop a thorough understanding of consumer motivations and behaviours to inform clear marketing strategies across our brand, retail, and product portfolio
  • Serve as the voice of the consumer and shopper by partnering with multiple areas of the business. Assist with product innovation, campaign planning, and brand positioning work, including validation of consumer data
  • Manage media and customer journey measurement
  • Datadriven attribution (DDA), Market Mix Model (MMM) and Share of Search
  • Leverage your strong analytical skills to mine multiple data sources and generate valuable insights that unlock category growth, create consumer value opportunities, address market gaps, and drive brand/business performance
  • Promote datadriven and factbased decision making by leveraging findings from various sources and using advanced analytics and data visualisation techniques to turn facts into actionable insights
  • Lead the brand tracking process, including communication evaluations, to identify the drivers of brand equity and ensure that the implications are acted upon in the business.
  • Provide actionable insights to enhance decision making and learning across marketing teams, including delivering experimentation plans
  • Collaborate with the eCommerce Growth Lead and Growth Marketing Lead to develop an annual experimentation plan and lead digital experience analysis
  • Monthly budget management forecasting, planning and reporting

You'll bring:


  • Minimum 5 years experience in market research, agency or client side, with strong skills in design and implementation of consumer research (qualitative, quantitative, sensory)
  • Ideally, experience working within the FMCG or Consumer Goods
  • A solid track record of working in fast moving consumer goods, with experience in innovation processes, shopper activation and category management and development
  • Selfdriven personality with good organisational skills, demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under time and budget pressure
