About the role:

Hill View Aged Care are currently seeking dependable & proactive kitchen hands on a permanent part-time or casual basis. This work will be ad-hoc and you get to nominate what days you are available to work.


Daily tasks will range depending on allocated rosters from:

• Ensure appropriate preparation, presentation of high quality nutritious meals to residents
• Serving and delivery of meals in accordance with menu plans, dietary requirements and residents choice
• Kitchen hand duties and cooking assistance
• Cleaning and general hospitality services

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months of recent experience working within a health care facility
• A certificate in food safety would be highly regarded
• Ideally you will have experience working in Aged Care or a hospital environment
• Available for oncall shifts, a lot of these shifts will come through on the day
• Own reliable transport
• Able to provide 2 work related referees
• Have exceptional time management skills
• Demonstrate excellence in customer service at all times
• Café & barista experience _highly regarded_
• A current police check and current food handling regulations certificate (HACCP) are essential._
