We are on the hunt for an experienced Production Team Leader to join our client's team

Company Profile:

Our client is an industry leader in the agricultural sector, providing animal feed solutions to a wide market.

This company provides complete rations, mineral concentrates, nutritional blocks and supplements that meet the needs of a wide range of species and native animals at all stages of life.

They are a well-established organisation and pride themselves on quality service to their customers.

Set shifts on a 24/7 rotating roster (6am6pm, 6pm6am 12 hour shifts)

Responsibilities:

Leading a team of 6 operators, providing training and support to deliver outcomes
Responsible for the implementation and accomplishment of specific production requirements on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Enforcing company rules and regulations within team
Responsible for the effective management and communication of relevant information to shift personnel and management at all times
Providing troubleshooting and technical support to team

Position Essentials:

Prior experience operating extrusion machinery (ideal)
Experience and ability to manage production staff
Ability to adhere to Site Operational Procedures (SOPs) and Company Occupational Health and Safety Environments (OH&E) policies and procedures
Capability to work efficiently and manage own workloads in a busy warehouse environment
Physically fit and able to conduct frequent manual handling duties
