In this role, you will be responsible for managing team workload, deploying resources effectively, mentoring junior staff, and setting the strategic direction for our performance testing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Team Leadership: Lead, empower, and motivate the performance test team to deliver fitforpurpose solutions and meet operational goals on a daytoday basis.
  • Mentorship and Training: Coach, mentor, and provide onthejob training for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Quality Standards:

Create and maintain documentation to support performance test delivery, meet reporting requirements, and define quality standards for the team.


  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with key project stakeholders to identify resource requirements, build strong relationships, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Communication: Tailor communication (written and verbal) to different audiences and effectively represent the performance testing team.
  • Innovation: Drive strategic thinking and innovation within the team to improve delivery efficiencies and advocate for the team's benefits across the organization.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:


Mandatory:


  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience in leading or managing a team.
  • Testing Experience: Minimum eight (8) years of experience in a testing or quality assurance role.
  • Tool Proficiency: Applied understanding of test performance tools and languages, such as NeoLoad and LoadRunner.
  • Mentorship Skills: Demonstrated experience in training and mentoring staff.
  • Methodology Familiarity: Experience with differing delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps.

Desirable:


  • Certifications: Suitable ISTQB or equivalent certifications.
