The Maker Designer Kitchens, part of the ABN Group, located in Bassendean, is Western Australia's largest designer kitchen, stone and glass manufacturer, employing over 160 staff over 3 dedicated premises and focused on providing excellence in quality and service._

We are looking for an Estimating Manager to join our Estimating team. This person will be passionate about the industry, a high achiever and have a high attention to detail.

The role:

As the Estimating Manager you will be looking after a small team of Estimators.

This is a hands on position which will require you to undertake estimating duties, whilst providing support and training to junior staff members.

This role will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager & General Manager and you will form a key part in transforming the estimating department.

What will you bring to the company?

Considerable experience within an estimating role in the residential building or similar industry
Proven leadership experience
Experience in interpreting residential building drawings and working from plans and addenda's
Exceptional customer service skills
An outstanding attention to detail and strong documentation skills
Exceptional written and spoken English skills
Strong time management and organisation skills
A list of excellent references who can attest to your outstanding job performance
Team player who is willing and able to work with a small team

What will you be responsible for?

Leading a team of Estimators
Working with staff and clients on complex jobs, offering support and guidance
Accurately quoting and estimating residential kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, stone tops and glazing products for both the ABN Group building companies and retail clients
Maintaining price books and completing adhoc projects as requested by management
Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
Liaising with builders, project managers, suppliers and clients
Interpreting builder plans and specifications
