Our client has been supplying animal protein both nationally and international for over 60 years. The company's feedlots are an integral part of their protein supply chain and provide opportunity for a consistent supply of valueadded products to the global market. _

_About the role _

_Main Responsibilities _
- _Providing leadership across a diverse team encouraging an inclusive, safe, and productive team environment _
- _Completing site operational and financial management _
- _Overseeing the effective implementation and coordination of the Feeding and Milling, Animal Health and Induction, Maintenance and Manure, and the quality, safety and administration teams _
- _Ensuring that all regulatory and quality assurance requirements are met _
- _Providing on time and accurate management reports and information _
- _People management with a focus on site safety _
- _Integrating operations with the broader business _

_Requirements _:

_Education / Experience / Skills _
- _Proven ability to take ownership, show initiative, and develop strategic and operational plans _
- _Extensive knowledge and experience managing a high intensity and complex primary production environment at a senior level _
- _Experience leading within a feedlot environment advantageous _
- _Working knowledge and the ability to manage compliance across a range of regulatory environments _
