from $127,609 to $134,775 per annum (HEW Level 9), plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading. Flexible work arrangements.

THE ROLE

  • Macquarie Business School (MQBS) is recruiting an Engagement Manager.


Reporting to the Faculty Executive Director, the Engagement Manager will lead and support the development and implementation of the Macquarie Business School engagement strategy.


This key role will manage and maintain a 'single view of the client' that ensures all engagement activity performed for the School by various divisional units is coordinated, efficient and harmonious with University engagement initiatives and activity.

The Engagement Manager will lead the development, implementation and ongoing review of the School's external engagement initiatives, including connection opportunities for alumni and industry partners, developing and implementing operational plans to identify relationships with key individuals and organisations, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that engagement activity translates to measurable impact.


ABOUT YOU


You will be a strategic thinker with leadership and drive who is able to deliver service excellence in collaboration with School Executive.

You will bring your own management expertise in higher education or similar fields, along with a thorough knowledge of corporate engagement, relationship management and project management principles.


A natural multitasker, you will utilise your exceptional communication skills to influence, negotiate and motivate senior managers, executive, academics, alumni and students.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and extensive relevant experience
  • Contributing to the design, development and managing implementation of engagement strategies, operational plans and initiatives
  • Extensive experience leading and successfully implementing multiple projects and/ or events simultaneously
  • Ability to identify, build and nurture partnerships with external organisations to support organisational strategy
  • Synthesising and analysing data from a number of sources to prepare presentations, reports and submissions for internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated experience developing, coaching and supporting team members and colleagues
