Job Description:


Day to day you will:


  • Lead our lifestyle and entertainment editorial teams on content and events strategy
  • Lead 9Property vertical, including content strategy, traffic referrals, subbing, rostering and hiring of staff
  • Manage partner relationships including traffic referrals, content strategy and reporting for Drive, Domain, Stan and 9Now
  • Plan and manage ongoing staff training across an array of skills and disciplines
  • Manage new employee onboarding
  • Lead industry award nominations and entries

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in digital content strategy in a fast paced media environment
  • Proven ability in leading a large editorial team
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong commercial focus and understanding
  • Ability to meet deadlines, hit traffic budgets and deliver commercial outcomes
  • Strong people skills and proven record in stakeholder management
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Exceptional people management skills with staff from junior to senior levels
  • Proven record in developing and mentoring staff, and recognising emerging talent
  • Strong CMS experience
