Bookkeeping Manager, BAS Agent
- $80k - $100k + Super, dependent on experience

  • Brisbane south side location
  • Well established, tightknit and longstanding firm
A rare chance to join a rapidly growing business located in the southern suburbs of Brisbane.

They are well-established and have an incredibly involved and hands-on Director who is dedicated to the teams' progress, growth and development.


With long-standing clients, the firm offers a tailored end-to-end Bookkeeping service, standing themselves out from the crowd with a very tech-focused operational model that allows the team to be very fluid in getting work done, ensuring steps aren't missed and supporting the team if they are absent from the office with an ability to reallocate work easily to other team members for completion.


The role:


  • The team now have a growth opportunity with a new role, essentially as the 2IC to the Director, for a BAS Agent, Senior Bookkeeper or Bookkeeping Manager who can step into a supporting position to the Director, with an entrepreneurial/growth mindset and a passion for automation and improving the tech side of the business
  • You will act as an intermediary between the Director and Bookkeepers. The structure of the team is that each BAS Agent/Senior Bookkeeper has a Bookkeeper that works directly with them to service clients, mainly with payroll, reviewing work and BAS compliance
  • The role entails a high standard of client relationship management and growth by providing great quality services. You will be assigned to manage your own clients with a high level of autonomy
  • No offshoring.

About you:


  • Completed your Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or higher
  • Have been practicing as a BAS Agent for 5+ years
  • Have had your TPB license for 2+ years
  • Strong skills in Xero, Xero PM, MYOB, FYI Docs and Ingition
  • Payroll, reviewing and mentoring experience.
