As the Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the Snowy Hydro Procurement Lead to secure optimal value for the Snowy 2.0 Project.
This involves efficiently managing procurement programs, overseeing and governing contractor's procurement activities.Your responsibilities extend to enhancing overall procurement processes through continuous improvement initiatives, data tracking and management, and ensuring effective information for lifecycle management.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting the development and ongoing delivery/management of a comprehensive Procurement Management Plan essential for the Snowy 2.0 Project.
Developing and managing crucial documents required for tender execution, including supporting contracts, tender packs, evaluation tools, and records for supplier communications.
Aiding in the development of execution of contracts, ensuring alignment with project timelines by managing negotiations between suppliers and key Snowy Hydro stakeholders.
Facilitating the development and ongoing management of detailed reporting and tools to monitor and report project pipeline and progress against plans.
You'll Bring To The Team:
Preferably, you'll possess a Bachelor's degree, although equivalent experience in a related field is valued. Your background should include procurement, contract management, commercial, engineering, or project management roles. Understanding procurement and supply chain value drivers is advantageous. Your position requires solid commercial acumen and analytical capabilities. Effective stakeholder management and interpersonal skills are essential for fostering strong relationships both within and outside the organisation.
