An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Analyst to join our Portfolio Management team, which sits within the broader Commercial Property team at Stockland.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering insightful and informative analysis, reporting, and assisting in the preparation of strategic asset plans for the Workplace and Logistics portfolio.


About the role


This key role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely analysis, reporting and monitoring key performance drivers, assisting in the preparation of strategic asset plans and influencing management decision making through the communication of analysis and insights.


Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Undertake analysis to assist stakeholders in identifying opportunities and risks:
  • NOI and Valuation Analysis of Key Leasing Deals
  • WALE and Occupancy Analysis
  • Rent at Risk Analysis
  • Asset and Portfolio IRR Analysis
  • Perform external market reporting:
  • Investor Presentation
  • Property Portfolio
  • Prepare reports to monitor key performance drivers and assist key stakeholders in reaching their performance targets:
  • Weekly Leasing Update
  • Weekly Lease Status Update
  • Fortnightly CLT Lease Stat Reporting
  • Monthly Board Reporting
  • Provide forecast information to facilitate management decision making:
  • Providing link between Asset Managers and Finance Managers on re-forecasted and budgeted leasing assumptions
  • Influence management decision making through active communication of analysis and forecast information
  • Work in partnership with the immediate manager to reinforce performance expectations
  • Partner with key internal customers/stakeholders to build and maintain strong working relationships

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in Property/Land Economics degree
  • Relevant experience working within major agency or an institutional real estate management organisation, in an analytical focussed role in property, such as a property, valuation or leasing analyst
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to influence
  • Time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to problem solve and high level of curiosity to seek out solutions
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Customer service oriented with an ability to build and maintain relationships
