The Team:


Humanforce is growing and we are looking for an awesome IT Team Lead to join our small but nimble internal IT team, responsible for creating a seamless tech experience for all Humanforce employees.

You will lead a small team of system admins and IT service desk analysts and work to build a prioritisation roadmap for key IT initiatives, both for current and future state IT systems across the HF Group.


Who you are?:


This role will be responsible for providing leadership in the development and delivery of the group's IT setup across our desktop computing, networking, IT service desk and windows server infrastructure.

You'll have the opportunity to be hands on to plan, manage and build the information systems and technology of the organisation reliably and sustainably, whilst managing a small team looking to continuously improve and innovate for the future.


What you will do?:


  • Prioritising IT initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the HF Group.
  • Own the implementation and integration of emerging products, systems and technologies within HF which will support future growth and opportunities.
  • Develop project plans to deliver approved systems and technology solutions within the scope of defined parameters including cost, time, and quality.
  • Manage the IT helpdesk function which provides efficient and timely support to defined service levels.
  • You will work with your team to build a high performing, serviceoriented culture with a focus on achieving the group strategic initiatives through delivery of exceptional IT support.

System administrator responsibilities:


  • Configure internal systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Upgrade the network infrastructure.
  • Install servers, devices, and firewalls.
  • Train new system users and set up their accounts.
  • Monitor the performance of servers, software, and hardware.
  • Update technical documentation.
  • Help with access control to systems and do regular access reviews.

What you will need?:


  • Relevant bachelor's degree, Technical Qualification, or Relevant Experience
  • Experience as a senior systems administrator
  • Great leadership abilities with experience of managing/supervising a small team.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop and server, AD, Linux, MAC, networking, MDM and other similar skills needed to build and manage a desktop computing environment for 300 people.
  • Software supplier and Vendor management experience, including software evaluation and RFP's.
  • Exceptional Customer Service
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with users of all levels and explain complex technical information into simple and understandable terms.
  • Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to timelines.
