-
EH&S Specialist to work as a part of Environment Health Safety & Sustainability (EHS) team to develop, plan & implement major new EH&S programs for major engineering project.
About the Opportunity

Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Establish and proactively drive the EH&S management for construction works & arrangements for full operational readiness of the facility.
  • Develop, plan & coordinate with Project Engineer the EH&S Program & implement processes to monitor the project.
  • Monitor principal contractor & sub contractors to ensure compliance with safety plans & policies.
  • Coordinate, train & support engineering & production teams to ensure safe working methods are are in place for commissioning & validation.
  • Identify EH&S risks & raise issues between the site & the EHS team.
  • Coordinate commissioning phase of the project with Project Managers to ensure EHS aspects of commissioning are planned & controlled.
  • Effectively liaise internally & externally with key stakeholders.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or Environmental. certificate.
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience in EH&S role in pharmaceutical/chemical industrial manufacturing.
  • Sound experience in EH&S design, project management & operational readiness.
  • Sound knowledge of construction related projects.
  • Sound knowledge in EH&S regulations within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Well developed communication, presentation & reporting skills.
  • Sound team building & organisational skills.
  • Sound ability to liaise at all levels.
