Data Management & Integration Manager

  • Based in Bentley, permanent role.

What is your new role about?

Your new role will include:

  • Lead the team of 610 including solution leads, data engineers, integration engineers and business intelligence analysts.
  • Ensure the direction, integrity and management of data assets across Horizon Power systems through the delivery of data and analytics strategy and roadmap, platforms, data architecture and modelling, design patterns and standards, and operationalisation of data governance framework and operating mode.
  • Oversee delivery of data management and integration projects by sourcing suitable resources to the projects and timely guidance and support to the project managers.
  • Manage 24x7 support adhering to SLAS defined across production and nonproduction environments.
  • Manage BAU pipeline of enhancements and continuous improvements.
  • Lead, coach and mentor employees to deliver on plan and build a high performing team.
  • Support best practice through developing and embedding sustaining data and monitoring key performance measures; budget, resource and risk management; and executing and managing contracts within approved frameworks.

Our new Data Management & Integration Manager will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of data management and integration best practices, technologies and governance.
  • Knowledge of big data, relational databases and SQL server tools.
  • Demonstrated experience and track record for delivery of IT platforms and solutions.
  • Pragmatic, flexible approach to data management and integration design, delivery, management and governance.
  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and problemsolving skills to interpret business context/direction and align delivery of Technology portfolio of project accordingly.
  • Significant professional experience IT or similar, with experience in a similar role in a practical capacity, preferably in an organisation of similar size and similar complexity.
