Your New Career


As the Product Development Manager you'll be responsible for new products from initial concept and development stage, through to delivery.

If you have a successful track record in Product Development, strategic mind, and the confidence and experience to hit the ground running then this is the role for you

  • You have 4+ years extensive experience in hard goods product development, preferably in Fashion, Accessories or Apparel.
  • High level of experience sourcing from International suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Excellent strategic planning, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills, delivering product ranges on time, every time.
  • Ability to identify new product opportunities, keeping on top of marketplace trends.
  • Comprehensive understanding of category, marketing and brand planning.
  • Mature minded and highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Offer a unique perspective to the team, add value and enhance existing capabilities within the business.
  • A deep connection between design and merchandising and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A genuine interest in helping the business thrive.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development of new product launches, packaging, product sourcing, product enhancements through to tactical implementation.
  • Prepare, maintain and communicate timelines for all new product launches, product refreshments, and product sourcing.
  • Monitor product sales, gross margins, contribution margins, product availability and distribution effectiveness, liaising with relevant personnel to identify deviations from plan / budget, including market and competitive data.
  • Conduct postactivity audits to measure effectiveness of all new product launches and product refreshment, and circulate reports to relevant business Heads.
  • Ensure all Web content is kept current.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and reasonable inventory levels are maintained for the assigned categories/brands within senior management agreed financial levels.
  • Review and make recommendations to Management for all category product SKU's.
