About this unique role

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Transformation, the Portfolio Investment and Benefits Manager is responsible for establishing, embedding, and refining the investment and benefit frameworks with portfolio stakeholders to ensure delivery of the organisation's strategic objectives and to drive return on investment that will include providing strategic advice to the Portfolio board.

By leading the benefits function and supporting the design of portfolio initiatives, this role will consciously enhance capability uplift and knowledge across the business through coaching benefit owners through the benefit realisation process.

You will have exceptional interpersonal skills with an adaptable and flexible approach, and the ability to 'think outside the box' within a learning organisation.


About you:


  • 35+ years in a similar role in leading the formation, integration, and delivery of Portfolio and/or Program Investment / Benefit frameworks at an enterprise level ideally within a geographically diverse, highly regulated, industrially sensitive organisation. Previous experience in a in multiproject delivery environment, and a thorough understanding of program / project delivery frameworks (Government environments preferred)
  • Exceptional analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to evaluate, interpret, identify trends, and report data and portfolio outcomes to inform effective decision making. Highly adept stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to influence and coach for strategic outcomes at all organisational levels
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and communication skills along with proven negotiation and conflict resolution experience to resolve sensitive and complex issues
  • Change management experience, embedding new concepts in an organisation facing significant and holistic change pressures

- $130,699 - $138,117 per annum
