Performance Test Analyst | Federal Government | Baseline Security Clearance:
Canberra location (preferred) | Some WFH- No Remote | Multiple roles:
Market Rates ($115-135/hour) | 12+12 month contract | Starting July 1st
As the Performance Test Analyst, you will be working on a number of initiatives that will be benefiting the lives of Australian's.
Key Deliverables
- Create long term strategy for performance testing including approach that focuses on leveraging automation scripts for performance testing using the department's performance test tools (ie LoadRunner)
- Contribute to strategy to address how performance testing will be integrated within scaled agile sprints
- Provide recommendations towards performance monitoring tools
- Support existing performance test team with the scripting, execution and reporting of release performance test
- Draft project change risk assessments based on current and future systems
- Prepare, develop and execute test scripts and scenarios via LoadRunner
- Undertake detailed performance analysis in a multi technology and platform environment
- Review, assess and communicate risks
- Work within Agile teams and autonomously with strong analytical and negotiation skills
Key Skills, Experience and Attributes;
- Demonstrated experience (6+ years) in Performance testing, including;
- Full test life cycle requirements review and analysis, performance script preparation, test execution and incident management
- Performance analysis and monitoring using different techniques and technologies
- Expertise in technical implementations and issues across performance
- Use of performance testing tools
- LoadRunner, Micro Focus ALM
- Script Development in any of the following protocols
- CITRIX/VDI, Web (HTTP/HTML), Web Services, Siebel, Java, Mobile, SQL
- Effort and schedule estimation experience for projects
- Azure DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Software development methodologies
- Waterfall, Agile, hybrid
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Experience in training and knowledge transfer
