    Work with world-leading technology in a Gold Coast(Upper Coomera) location

    We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Inventory Manager / Bookkeeper to join our manufacturing unit based on the Gold Coast. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing all aspects of inventory control, import-export operations, shipment paperwork, order placement, and spare parts management. This role requires a professional with over 10 years of experience who can efficiently align our inventory management processes with the dynamic needs of our manufacturing operations.

We relocated our hardware manufacturing from the USA to Australia and are now growing our hardware engineering team here.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory levels, stock locations, and logistics to ensure optimal stock levels and space utilization.
    • Import-Export Coordination: Handle all import and export documentation and procedures, ensuring compliance with Australian and international regulations.
    • Shipment Management: Manage the preparation of shipping documents, track shipments, and coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.
    • Order Processing: Place orders for raw materials and spare parts, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain relationships to ensure the best pricing and terms.
    • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transactions. Prepare financial reports related to inventory for the management team.
    • Spare Parts Management: Develop and implement a system for managing spare parts, including procurement, storage, and distribution.
    • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of incoming and stored goods, addressing any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.

    Requirements

    • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in inventory management or a related field within a manufacturing environment.
    • Education: Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Skills:
      • Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
      • Strong knowledge of import-export regulations and documentation.
      • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
      • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
      • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data management and financial reporting.
    • Personal Qualities: Proactive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • This is a permanent, full time position with immediate start available.
